About
Mongolia barely runs on cash anymore - everything's tap, card, QPay. Which is great, until you're a kid with no card of your own, borrowing a parent's instead. XacTeen+ is a financial app we built for XacBank that gives children and teens something better: an account that's actually theirs, so managing money doesn't mean calling mom every time.

Challenge
Picture a kid at a store, mom’s card in hand, having to call a parent just to check if there's enough balance or having the parent do the transaction over the phone for them. That's the everyday reality for a lot of kids in a country that's gone mostly cashless. Banking apps exist, but they're built for adults — dense menus, dry language, interfaces that feel like paperwork. None of that works for a twelve-year-old. XacBank needed something that gave kids real independence with their own money, in a way that actually felt like it was made for them, not just shrunk down from something else.
Solution
We built XacTeen+ as a real bank account for kids — not a stripped-down toy version, but not a boring adult app either. They can send and receive money, pay with QPay, check their own balance, and manage their own card, no phone call required. The interface is built to feel light and playful rather than clinical, and kids can personalize their account with their own photos and names, making it feel like theirs. A built-in challenge feature turns saving into something kids and parents work toward together, instead of a rule handed down from above.
