About
SocialPay Junior is Mongolia's first digital wallet built specifically for kids and teens - a real account of their own for ages 7 to 18, built for Golomt Bank, with an experience that feels like theirs rather than a shrunken-down version of their parents' wallet app.

Challenge
Kids in this age range are old enough to want independence with money, but no banking app in Mongolia had been built for how they actually think or want to engage — dry, functional, one-size-fits-all, or simply not available to them at all. Golomt Bank wanted to be first: a banking experience genuinely made for a younger user, personal and expressive.
Solution
We built SocialPay Junior with personalization at its core — upload a photo, and the app generates an entire design system around it: colors, accents, and styling pulled straight from the image, so no two kids' apps look quite the same. We also designed a custom sticker set for in-app chat, and built Fluent-inspired success and error animations using Lottie, keeping the experience lively without weighing the app down. Underneath all of it, SocialPay Junior handles real banking: parents can register their child through their own internet banking and set transaction limits, kids get their own virtual card, and can send money, request payments, and chat with friends — all wrapped in a mobile app (iOS and Android) backed by a GraphQL API bridging directly into Golomt Bank's core systems.
